| MAN it's weird to be back here! I haven't logged into Xanga in over a year, and haven't used it regularly for about two. I am surprised to find I didn't already post to broadcast my move to Live Journal. However, this bit of news is now irrelevant because LJ sucked and as of today I am at Blogger, where all the cool kids hang out. Goodbye Xanga! :''(

Now, I hate Kathy Griffin as much as the next guy, but did the people to finally start yelling at her for being a worthless whore have to be this crowd?
Griffin Condemned by Religious Leaders My Life On The D-List comedian Kathy Griffin
has come under fire by a Christian theatre group for blaspheming during
her acceptance speech at the Creative Emmy Awards on Saturday. Members
of Tennessee's Miracle Theater posted an $90,000 ad in Usa Today
condemning Griffin's speech, during which she said: "a lot of people
come up here and thank Jesus for this award. I want you to know that no
one had less to do with this award than Jesus. This award is my God
now!" General manager Russ Hollingsworth says group members are
offended by jokes about Jesus. He says, "When word reached our cast
that a Hollywood celebrity had stood before TV cameras and said such
vulgar things about Christ, they were incensed. It's just not OK
anymore to mock Christians and Jesus with impunity." But Griffin
insisted her statements were meant as a joke, adding, "Am I the only
Catholic left with a sense of humor?"
Also, "it's just not OK anymore to mock Christians and Jesus with impunity"? "It's just not funny," sure. But "it's just not OK anymore"? A few decades ago she would've been lynched. A few centuries ago she would've been burned at the stake. As if you're the ones who've been persecuted and insulted for the past millennium.

Russians Mistook Mortensen for Tattooed Mobster
The 43 tattoos Viggo Mortensen displays on his body in new film Eastern Promises were so authentic, Russians really thought he was a Mafia heavyweight. The A History Of Violence
star, who plays a Russian mobster in the new thriller, spent four hours
in the make-up chair having the skin art applied and he realized it was
worth it when he saw the looks of terror on Soviet youths he met in a
London pub. He recalls, "They were looking at my hands and suddenly
stopped talking. It was right when the Alexander Litvinenko (former
lieutenant colonel of the Russian Federation's Federal Security
Service) poisoning happened in 2006, and I looked very shady. So I got
up and left. They were probably freaked out." Mortensen reveals he
traveled through Russia, met with real gangland bosses and meticulously
studied the Mafia's tattoo art to make sure his latest character was as
authentic as possible.
Yeah so, that's pretty awesome. Who knows, I may actually see that now.

| [ Poor sad laptop need help ]
Nevermind.
Yeah, after I made this original post my laptop crashed once again so I decided to open it. The problems were fairly obvious although I did not have the means to solve them (loose thingy in the power plug hole housing, very loose headphone jack/housing, and not enough thermal paste on the CPU). So I put it back together this morning and it worked first try! (well, as well as it was working before, it's not like I fixed anything) Also I only lost one screw! It always amazes me when I manage to take apart a $2000 (well, not anymore, whatever) piece of equipment and it still works when I reassemble it.
